Read More Thursday, Nov. 7 PortHarcourt. Leading indigenous Oil and Gas servicing company, AOS Orwell, today celebrated its 2019 edition of its annual Safety Day themed ‘Out with the old and in with the new; Adapting Innovative practices in QHSE’.
The event took place in the organization’s Homebase in Trans-Amadi, Port Harcourt and was well attended by key persons form various companies in the Oil and Gas sector.
Speaking on the need for a more innovative approach to QHSE, The MD, AOS Orwell expressed his commitment to making sure that each member of staff is transformed into safety executives that live and breathe safety at work and at home.
The event was rich with several presentations, contributions and fun and games entertained Q&A sessions, ergonomics, fun and games and a paper presented by the Special Guest of Honour and Guest Speaker, Victor Okolo, Executive Director at Midwestern Oil and Gas Company. According to him, there have been significant improvements in the area of QHSE in the industry, however, he explained that more work still needed to be done to deliver innovative practices into QHSE.
